Charity Foundation “STEFANIA DNIPRO”

The hard fate of an IDP is a story of the broken dreams and painful struggle for survivalIt is a journey that begins with a terrible moment when the war forces you to leave everything behind: your home, the streets where you enjoyed the laughter of your children, and the priceless things that formed the foundation of your life.

An internally displaced person goes into an unknown place, full of anxiety and despair, seeking refuge and hope in a strange city where nothing reminds them of home. Dnipro is a new page for thousands of such people. However, how can this new start warm a wounded heart? How can you find the strength to go on living when you are surrounded by strange streets, strange faces, and the painful echo of the past is still in your soul? IDPs struggle not only with alienation and loneliness, but also with the despondency that is hard to overcome when it seems the whole world has turned against you. They have to start their lives from scratch, like from the ashes, looking for work, enrolling their children in new schools, trying to build a new home on the ruins of the past.

However, despite all the difficulties, they have a flicker of hope. They hope that their children will be safe, that they will be able to find peace and harmony again.

CO ‘CF “Stefania Dnipro” has become a ray of light in the darkness for many people. Dnipro has become a new page for thousands of such people. Unbreakable, indomitable and undefeated, Stefania's volunteers do not just help - they give hope, restoring faith in goodness and humanity. This is a sign that even in the darkest times there are those who are willing to lend a hand, to share their warmth and their faith in the best. This is what gives you the strength to carry on, to fight, not to give up.
